In 2007 Davis Advertising was chosen, after an agency review, to create a new logo, tag line and web design for this organization. After a number of meetings with the marketing team from the North Central Massachusetts Economic Development Council it was decided that two key attributes would be targeted with the new logo and tagline.

The first key marketing attribute would deal with the attraction that Massachusetts has to high tech, healthcare and manufacturing industries. The availability of a highly trained and intelligent work force is a key factor in the decision to place a business in an area. The second factor would deal with the lower cost related to placing a business in the North Central Massachusetts area.

Davis Advertising created the tag line “Massachusetts Made Affordable,” which was a reminder to the older “Make it in Massachusetts” theme. The tag line was incorporated in a logo design that was able to present the full name of the organization and a map that would identify the area. The logo and tag line was an instant hit with over 80 key business executives when introduced in 2008.
