Rich Chapel
Key Clicker Extraordinaire (2007 – present)
With more than one million words sold in a 30-year+ promotional writing career, Rich is now forming words into sentences and paragraphs for IMN and other Davis accounts. Long a closet gearhead, Rich is happily thinking up new catch phrases and pithy descriptions for today’s new cars.
Educated as a musician at Northwestern University and Berklee College of Music, Rich found himself caught up in the Viet Nam draft era. After a 3-year career in the Army, he knuckled down as a Bank Management Trainee in the building next to Davis Advertising. When he was “traded” to the bank’s ad agency, Rich discovered his true calling.
Rich has worked for ad agencies, Fortune 500 corporations, and as a freelance writer. His commercial writing skills have been focused on turning business and technical information into compelling and memorable copy that provokes a response.
When away from his computer keyboard, Rich likes to bang out tunes on a piano keyboard and listen to his extensive collection of jazz recordings. Most recently, he has devoted himself to abstract and contemporary watercolor painting.
Rich lives with his wife Janet and child substitute, Barney, the nearly perfect miniature schnauzer, at a home known as “the bunker” somewhere in the vicinity of Webster Square in Worcester.
Rich responds to most any name, but prefers “Rich” or “RC.” |

Andy Primeau
Copywriter (2005 - present)
After joining the agency in 2005, Andy has quickly and mercilessly risen through our ranks to become the youngest (and handsomest) Copywriter in Davis history (and, as some historians argue, the world's history). Take that, Mrs. Fugelman, Andy's 7th Grade English teacher! Who's never gonna amount to anything now?
Andy is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, and a recent dropout of Paris' famed LeFavre Institute of Cookery. Around the office, Andy enjoys speaking in the third person to ensure that, "someone is always talking about Andy." Isn't that the kind of gumption you want in your Copywriter? Andy thinks so.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys long walks on the beach, working on weekends, working overtime, and thinking about work. Andy can be reached 24 hours a day on his self-instituted work hotline, and was recently named to People Magazine's Hot 100 List.

While at Assumption, she was a staff writer and Copy Editor for the school’s newspaper Le Provocateur. After college, Mel had a six-month stint reporting for a local weekly, and she began writing – and still does – for the Pulse Magazine.
