Andy Primeau
Associate Creative Director (2005 - present)

After joining the agency in 2005, Andy has quickly and mercilessly risen through our ranks to become the youngest (and handsomest) Copywriter in Davis history (and, as some historians argue, the world's history). Take that, Mrs. Fugelman, Andy's 7th Grade English teacher! Who's never gonna amount to anything now?

Andy is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, and a recent dropout of Paris' famed LeFavre Institute of Cookery. Around the office, Andy enjoys speaking in the third person to ensure that, "someone is always talking about Andy." Isn't that the kind of gumption you want in your Copywriter? Andy thinks so.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys long walks on the beach, working on weekends, working overtime, and thinking about work. Andy can be reached 24 hours a day on his self-instituted work hotline, and was recently named to People Magazine's Hot 100 List.

Melissa Begley
Associate Creative Director (2011 – present)

Melissa joins Davis Advertising with extensive experience in developing strategic marketing solutions through creative design and copywriting.

While serving as Art Director at Bennett Group, Melissa produced imaginative and effective designs for the healthcare market. Her strong background in graphic art and visual branding also proved valuable for Yankee Candle Company as she developed their retail point-of-purchase displays, brochures, outdoor and print advertisements and direct marketing materials. Melissa was also Creative Director at Exsel Advertising, where she created several award-winning concepts for over 100 national, regional and local clients. Her experiences with a variety of markets and inherent eye for design have generated campaigns that are not only successful but also exceptionally innovative.

Melissa holds a BFA from The College of New Rochelle and currently resides in Sturbridge. She enjoys a sunny day at the Cape, spending time with friends, reading a good book and painting – either on a canvas or the walls of her house. In addition, Melissa boasts a vast knowledge of useless information and an impressive ability to "name that 80's song in four notes."

Drumming since the age of 10, he's also been in a handful of local bands. More recently, Jeff picked up the acoustic guitar. He loves all musical genres, especially classic rock, the blues, and Johnny Cash. Jeff is also a huge baseball fan…Go Sox!

Erika Scopino
Copywriter (2011 – present)

After three years of freelancing, Erika joined the Davis team as a full-time copywriter. She composes eye-catching, informative content for IMN (iMakeNews, Inc.) e-newsletters, which appear on the websites of auto dealerships across the country.  Prior to her work with Davis, Erika was a public relations assistant for Jo Malone, an Estée Lauder company based in London, England.

Erika holds a BA in Communication and Culture from Clark University and an ALM, with a concentration in English, from Harvard University.  Both at work and in her free time, Erika hopelessly attempts to fend off the travel bug - especially while writing tempting travel articles for Davis.  At home in Arlington, however, she's usually content exploring the Minuteman Bikeway and chowing down at nearby hot pot eateries.

Bryan Sclar
Photograph Researcher (2001 – present)

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and it's up to Bryan Sclar to find that picture.

Bryan got his start at Davis Advertising seven years ago as a graphic design artist after graduating from Fitchburg State with a degree in communications and media.

Now, he works exclusively with the Davis client IMN (iMakeNews, Inc.) finding pictures to include with the monthly e-newsletters that are sent out to clients of car dealerships all across the country. From Acuras to Volvos, Bryan finds eye-catching shots of the latest makes and models of more than 50 vehicles. But it's not only cars either - Bryan researches photographs to supplement the other articles that cover a range of topics including entertainment, health and destinations.

Bryan lives in Florida with his wife and two children, Madison and Ben. When he's not photo researching, Bryan enjoys sports (especially the Red Sox) and playing with Madison and Ben.
