Mike Kilmer
Junior Web Developer (2009 – present)
Davis’s Interactive Department is expanding thanks to its newest Junior Web Developer Mike Kilmer. As a web developer Mike works in CSS, HTML, Flash, and PHP coding websites designed by our art department.
A lifelong Worcester resident, Mike is a graduate of UMass Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in visual design in the study of digital media. Prior to Davis he worked as a manager at Gamestop.
A self-certified music nut, Mike listens to nearly every style of music from rap to country, and even electronic music. He also plays a variety of instruments: guitar (8+ years), bass, drums, and dabbles in harmonica, keyboard, and ukelele as well. In addition to playing, Mike has recorded multiple projects both as a solo artist and with other people, and has developed a love for recording, producing, and mixing.
Mike is also an avid video gamer and loves everything to do with the industry. In his spare time he likes to read fantasy and sci-fi novels, collect vinyl records, go on hikes, skateboard, snowboard, and attend as many comedy and rock shows as he can. Mike also has a love for old cartoons and animation and someday hopes to animate his own online Flash series.
