As the Interative Director, Chris works closely with our account executives and clients to develop Internet strategies. From email marketing to website design and development, Internet advertising and search engine optimization, Chris makes sure that the specific needs of each client are met. Chris attended Mount Wachusett Community College majoring in psychology. Prior to Davis, he worked in website development, web-based application development and Internet marketing for Monster.com, TJX Companies Inc. and Informa USA. A resident of Mendon, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, working on old cars, playing guitar, bass and mandolin, hiking, camping (especially during the winter), beekeeping, watching baseball and football, and eating turkey dinners! | |
As a web developer Mike works with our art department to create websites, banners, and interactive ads using CSS, HTML, Flash, and PHP, for a number of Davis clients. A lifelong Worcester resident, Mike is a graduate of UMass Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in visual design in the study of digital media. Prior to Davis he worked as a manager at Gamestop. A self-certified music nut, Mike listens to nearly every style of music from rap to country, and even electronic music. He also plays a variety of instruments and has recorded, produced, and mixed, most of his own music, both as a solo artist and with other people. In his spare time Mike likes to play video games, read fantasy and sci-fi novels, collect vinyl records, hike, skateboard, snowboard, watch old cartoons and animation, and attend as many live shows as he can. | |
Justin works with the Interactive Department here at Davis as one of our web developers. With four years of prior experience developing and designing web pages for The Soundtrack Group, his skills here are predominantly focused within database interfacing. Justin acquired his Bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College, majoring in theatre coupled with a minor in studio art, and he also boasts an MFA in sound design from the North Carolina School of the Arts. Since his undergrad years, Justin nurtured a passion for web development, and what began as simple dabbling turned into a lifetime interest and career. Justin and his family – his wife, two children and two Yorkshire terriers – reside in Spencer, Massachusetts. When he’s not working at the computer, Justin enjoys a plethora of hobbies including sound editing and music composition, drawing, yard work and gardening. His favorite pastime, however, is spending time with his family. | |
Chris works as a web developer, and focuses the majority of his efforts towards the growing world of Social Media. His prior experience comes from the automotive business, where he worked in the field as Internet Director, developing both social media and client retention programs for the largest dealership group in Western Mass. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Anna Maria College, and taught children with developmental needs at Devereux for a few years before leaving teaching to enter into the retail world. As a student in the fields of sociology and psychology, it was an obvious fit to use his HTML, CSS, and CMS skills into the ever changing field of Social Media. Family is the most important thing to Chris, and he loves spending time at home with his wife, playing with his baby daughter, and walking their Boxer mix. When not connected to the computer, he is often found hiking up a trail, emailing from his phone images of nature to those not able to make it out into the wilderness with him. | |
